CHRISTMAS IN JULY SHOP HOP

MMP Shop Hops are a type of contest where you try to find as many MMP “shopping bags” as you can. Each of our participating boutiques has hidden a shopping bag image on its website that says, “You Found It!” on the tag. Click that image to return to Make Mine Pink and get credit for finding it. The more bags you find, the better your chances of winning great prizes.

CUPCAKE POPS!

I came across a very yummy blog called Bakerella and just had to try these Cupcake Pops for Joley's 10th Birthday party. I always like to try something out of the ordinary, cuz ya know, everyone expects a cake!
These did take some time, but well worth it! Amazing creamy taste and TO DIE FOR CUTE!!

Show and Tell Monday "Red, White and Blue"

Has anyone every had trouble shooting fireworks with their camera? I must have taken a BILLION pictures of fireworks and used many different settings to try and get the perfect explosion of color. This is what I ended up with. I love them, but can't seem to get the pretty colors. Oh well! I guess I'll try again next year.

Make Mine Pink "Mini" Retreat at THE CAPE! Part 1
Wow is all I can say. Joyce really outdid herself when she thought to open up a fun girly retreat for us busy busy business women.
As soon as registration was open, I knew I had to sign up. I've never been to Cape Cod before, I just had to go.
I'll post some pics of the fun, then post some more later.
We were placed on teams and had to cook dinner on one night while there. My team was Kim and Nancy. We chose an elegant pork tenderloin with herb sauce, baked sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar, and asparagus. Our dessert was strawberry shortcake. I will have to look for a pic of that, I KNOW I must have taken one.
Here is Sharon playing in the sand. She is the tuffet queen, as we all call her, so of course she chose to build a tuffet at the beach.
At the beach, we all brought out our "inner child" to play. Wow! That was fun. More pics to follow. You've GOT to see the hula hooping craze. LOL
Patty and Cindy are enjoying the company and relaxation.
Kim and Gail also catching a lil "meet and greet" time together.
My all time FAVE color!!! This drink was a bit strong, if you know what I mean, so I was only able to take a few sips. But the color was unbelievable.
